The Edmonton Downtown Farmers’ Market Association Board of Directors is contemplating expanding the City Market season into the winter months and is considering two potential indoor venues for this purpose. The summer market will continue to operate outdoors in its current location on 104 Street.

Are you interested in volunteering for the City Market this season or next season? Please contact us, tell us a little bit about yourself. We are looking for a few outgoing personalities to help out on Market Saturdays.
Mark your calendars. In addition to all the great food and products from our Market vendors, here is a list of the fun festivals that will be featured at the City Market during the 2010 season:
- May 15 - Chinese Festival, Chinese Lion and Dragon Dance
- June 12 - Portuguese Festival, National Day, Dance and Performance
- July 31 - Cook Book Festival, Recipes from Chefs, featuring local ingredients, producers
- August 28 - Italian Festival Dance and Performance
- September 18 - Ukrainian Festival Dance and Performance
